the brief

To create a series of tabloid style flash interactives to highlight amazing stories from the Guinness world records archive.

the project

Rom and son studio created template designs and a creative workflow system which allowed us to script, storyboard, draw, animate, create music and program it all together at a rate of 10 stories per week (2 each day) for 3 months. The stories are extraordinarily diverse in subject matter and tone, ranging from the tragic - most helicopter spins while sky surfing (the guy died) - to the comic - loudest burp - to the macabre - eating live cockroaches. Each story contains streaming video, and allows the user to rate the story, email it to a friend or bookmark it.
